I would like to give you a brief biography of my life in health and fitness.

I was born very weak and frail. As a matter of fact, I had a small chance of surviving childhood and my parents treated me like a porcelain doll. All through elementary school and part way into middle school, I was very small and many of my classmates picked on me based on my weakness.

I grew up wanting to improve myself, but did not know how until I met my great physical education teacher in middle school and he challenged me to lift weights, do gymnastics, and play team sports.

I started lifting weights and my skinny frail body transformed into a strong muscular one. I performed some basic gymnastics routines I previously thought were impossible for me to do, yet with my teacher's encouragement and belief in my innate abilities, I managed to do things that amazed me. My coordination and gracefulness improved by leaps and bounds. I played volleyball with my classmates and learned I could play just as well as anyone and eventually got good enough to play in my varsity high school team.

Also during this time, I was introduced to a local YMCA Tae Kwon Do Club and learned the basics of self defense. The black belt instructor put a love for martial arts into me that I journeyed into other martial arts such as Aikido, Wushu, Aiki-jiujitsu, karate, boxing, Brazilian Jiujitsu, wrestling, and MMA.

I know from my own personal experience what it is like to have a body that I wasn't proud of and how to transform it into something strong, beautiful, and confident.  I have dedicated myself to sharing all the knowledge, skills, and motivation I have learned since 1988. I became a professional trainer in 2000 after getting my first national certification in August, 1999.

As a trainer in numerous health clubs and fitness facilities, I have transformed the health and fitness of my client's, getting them stronger and fit in a shorter period of time. I love to train and educate individual clients that are determined to make their fitness and health goals a reality.

Since 2000, I have been improving the lives of many dedicated New York residents.  I hold numerous certifications including: Personal Training, Pilates, Yoga, Kickboxing, Weight Management and Lifestyle Consulting, Post rehab, Pre/post natal fitness, Kettlebell, TRX.
